Health & Safety Commitment
Omega Red Group Ltd recognises and accepts its responsibility to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe and healthy working conditions for all company employees and others who could be affected by our activities. In addition to compliance with statutory requirements, Omega proactively seeks to prevent injury, ill health, damage or loss and recognises that health and safety has equal importance to our other business objectives and will not be compromised.
As an integral part of South Staffordshire Infrastructure (SSI) Services group of companies Omega holds ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety management accreditations, and are part of the Safe Contractor scheme. Employees have access to specialist occupational health advisors, who can provide proactive health surveillance and advice in order to keep our employees fit and healthy.
A group level health and safety strategy forum, led by the Group Chief Executive and supported by the Head of Health and Safety, continues to oversee activities in this important area of the business.
A large percentage of the workforce operate remotely and in challenging environments, as a result, the business aims to instil a health and safety centred culture. The group looks to build on this commitment and thereby acknowledges the need for continued improvement.
