Omega Earthing Limited was founded by a group of electrical engineers and lightning protection specialists, backed by 3i
1995 - Omega Furse established
Omega Earthing Limited acquired Furse Specialist Contracting to become the UK market leader in electrical earthing and lightning protection, providing a UK branch network.
1999 - Omega Furse becomes Omega Red Group
Omega Furse Contracting rebrands to become Omega Red Group
2004 - AW Elliott & Co
Omega Red Group acquired and integrated AW Elliott & Co., strengthening its position in lightning protection and introducing expertise in light rail.
2010 - South Staffordshire Plc & SSI Services
Omega Red Group acquired by South Staffordshire Plc, becoming part of the SSI Services Division.
Now
Still the UK market leader in earthing & lightning protection. Also offering services in Surge Protection, Height Safety and Material Supply.
