My role at Omega Red Group
In my role as Branch Manager, I drive performance by leading a talented team to grow the success of the branch, strengthen customer relationships and ensure safe operational excellence with our field team.
My background and experience
I started as an apprentice in 2007 where I learned my trade as a lightning protection engineer. However, I always knew I wanted to go into the office environment and did so by becoming a contracts supervisor in 2013. From there, with guidance from key team members, I have continued to grow, taking on the Branch Manager role in 2021.
I’m currently working with other members of the senior management team to map out the five-year plan for Omega Red. This has changed my way of thinking, allowing me to be more strategic in how we operate and continue to grow as a company.
How I add value
- By helping to build a positive, motivated team that delivers the best possible service to our customers, I create an environment where team members enjoy coming to work.
- I draw on my extensive knowledge of the lightning protection industry to guide the team through the challenges they face each day, ensuring our customers receive trusted, reliable expertise.
- I empower each member of the team to perform at their best and align daily operations with business goals to deliver consistent value for our customers.
Fun fact
I’m a huge football fan and support Newcastle United, for my sins! I also like to follow the England football team, home and away, but with two young and very demanding girls at home this is when time allows.
