My role at Omega Red Group
In my role, I’m responsible for delivering safe, profitable growth of the Manchester Branch regional coverage by promoting a culture of collaboration, safety and accountability, helping to deliver efficient, commercially successful outcomes for our customers and the business.
My background and experience
I joined Omega Red as an apprentice straight from school at the age of 16. Since then, I have gained experience across a wide range of operational roles within the business, including engineering, test & inspection, design & estimating and project delivery, before being appointed to my current role as Branch Manager in 2015.
How I add value
I adopt a holistic leadership style, placing people, development, and wellbeing at the heart of my approach. By supporting, motivating, and empowering my team, I strive to create an environment where individuals can perform at their best and achieve their full potential.
Drawing on my broad operational experience across the energy, critical infrastructure, government, industrial, transport, and utilities sectors, I take ownership of achieving client and business objectives through collaboration, resilience and a strong team ethos.
Fun fact
I’m an avid reader of true crime books and have a preference for fact over fiction. In fact, I’ve never watched a fictional film from start to finish, choosing documentaries and real-life stories instead.
