My role at Omega Red Group
As Compliance Operations Manager, my role is to ensure clients get the best possible service and remain compliant with the relevant standards. This includes delivering services efficiently, correctly and most importantly, safely.
My background and experience
I have been employed by Omega Red since 2007. I started as an apprentice on the installation side of the business before transitioning into the testing/compliance department, where I became a lightning protection test engineer. After several years in this role, I wanted to progress into a more supervisory role. This led to my promotion into my current role as Compliance Operations Manager.
How I add value
I focus on adapting to change, driving my team to problem-solve and deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Omega Red is going through an exciting period of transformation. I’m working closely with several committees and teams to help implement strategic developments as Omega strengthens its core business for customers and partners.
Fun fact
I really enjoy a puzzle or learning something new. I usually get new puzzles for Christmas that keep me busy throughout the year, and I try to learn new skills whenever I can. These include things like juggling and lock picking. I’m currently learning the art of 3D printing.
