My role at Omega Red Group
As Head of Operations, I lead the Operational Management Team across Omega Red’s regional branch network and height safety, compliance and power earthing divisions. Together we ensure projects are delivered safely, to a high standard and in a way that supports the growth and overall success of Omega Red Group.
My background and experience
I started my career on the tools as an electrical engineer, which gave me strong technical foundations. Over time, I moved into leadership roles where I discovered a passion for improving operations, developing teams and driving business performance.
I have led major transformations, delivered commercial growth and helped shape industry standards. These experiences have prepared me well to lead Omega Red operations nationally.
How I add value
- I drive operational excellence and efficiency by optimising processes, improving utilisation and ensuring teams have the clarity, structure and tools they need to deliver safe, reliable and consistent service for our customers.
- I strengthen commercial performance through smart resource planning, margin improvement actions and proactive management of contracts, customer relationships and performance data.
- I create a high-performing, engaged culture by developing leaders, empowering teams and championing collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement across the business to better support our customers.
Fun fact
I may have a busy job, but my real life is at home with my wife, my two young boys and spaniel. Together they run a strict schedule of chaos, snacks and impromptu days out. My favourite days are the busy ones out with my family proving that, in my world, ‘quality time’ and ‘total madness’ are basically the same thing!
